Job Description We are now looking for a nurse for our inpatient ward s-90 with a focus on psychotic illness, such as schizophrenia and delusional disorder. Here we care for people in different phases of their illness – from newly onset to chronic conditions often with comorbidity with other conditions or diseases. As a nurse in psychosis care, you have a central role in both stabilizing and supporting the patient in their recovery process. You have a leadership role in nursing care work, where the relationship with the patient is the foundation for meeting individual needs based on their unique life situation. You work closely with the patient and build secure relationships through conversation and presence – relationships that promote trust, participation, and recovery. The work takes place in a team and you are responsible for daily nursing care, which includes medication management, participation in rounds, reporting, and collaboration with other care providers. We work creatively and resource-focused, with the patient's skills at the center. We use techniques, methods, approaches, measures, and actions that are based in different areas of expertise.
