Night Shift Nurses for Blood, Gastrointestinal, and Rheumatology Department

Would you like to work close to patients in a team where competence, development, and care go hand in hand? Duties As a nurse with us at BMTR, you become part of an engaged and stable work group where the patient's needs always come first. You'll meet patients with everything from acute blood disorders and inflammatory bowel diseases to liver and rheumatological diseases – often with high medical complexity. With us, you'll work with some of medicine's most specialized and educational patient groups, such as acute leukemia, liver cirrhosis, acute liver failure, and newly diagnosed IBD or relapses in already known diseases. Many patients have central lines and receive intensive intravenous treatments, which gives you the opportunity to develop broad and deep clinical competence. We also provide follow-up care in connection with stem cell transplants and liver transplants. Your tasks include standard nursing duties, including administration of cytostatic drugs, but also active participation in person-centered care work. You work in a team-based approach around the patient together with doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and dietitians. We also have close collaboration with our day care unit and outpatient clinic to create continuity and security for our patients. Qualifications We're looking for you who are a licensed nurse, either at the beginning of your career or with experience in the profession. If you have worked in hospital care and in the areas of hematology, gastroenterology, or rheumatology, that's a merit. It's also an advantage if you have knowledge of the journal system Cosmic as we use it. To ensure good care, we see that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You who apply have the ability to plan and structure your work in an efficient way. A workday with us can change quickly and therefore we see that you can adapt to different situations while maintaining your composure and focus. Since we often work in teams, we see that you have good collaboration and communication skills. You have an empathetic and professional approach to patients, relatives, and colleagues. Employment Terms Permanent employment, full-time night shift. We use wish scheduling. For permanent night shifts, the weekly working hours are 32 hours (full-time). On-call compensation for nurses is enhanced by 40% according to a local agreement with Vårdförbundet. Starting date by agreement. We apply individual and differentiated salary setting.
