Our offices are currently located in Gävle, Kilafors, and Söderhamn. Here, approximately 40 licensed nurses work to receive, assess, and provide advice on self-care and/or guide people to the right level of care. Every call is unique and we work with a focus on quality and patient safety.

JOB DUTIES
Our mission is multifaceted and in your role as a nurse, you will have a varied workday where no moment and no call is the same as another. With us, you divide your working time between phone calls, chat, and video calls. Together with experienced colleagues, you make a difference for many and with the help of well-developed support systems, you meet people in the way that best suits their needs. Remote work may be offered.
As an advice nurse with us, you will, among other things:
• conduct medical assessments
• provide methodical and structured advice
• give self-care advice and refer to appropriate levels of care.
We operate 24 hours a day, which means working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS
As a nurse with us, it is crucial that you manage our call process and guide the conversation with the caller in the right direction. You are attentive, listen carefully, and help the person move forward with their matter based on your expertise. Different people with different circumstances and states of mind contact us, and it is important that you remain calm, convey security, and maintain a realistic perspective in pressured situations.
Furthermore, we work in many different IT systems that you need to be able to manage. As with all technology, problems sometimes arise, and then you are not afraid to seek solutions. We at 1177 have a significant role in the wider healthcare system, and it is therefore important that you see the bigger picture in your role. How we act sets the tone for people's experience of their path into healthcare, and it is therefore crucial that we both see the whole person but also the organization's overall conditions.
In your role as an advice nurse, you should:
• have Swedish nursing licensure.
Previous experience working as a nurse and/or in phone advice services is considered a merit for this position.
