As a medical technology engineer stationed at the radiation therapy department, you will work with operation, service, maintenance, and development of accelerators and technically advanced systems related to radiation therapy. Your duties include, among other things: service, remedial and preventive maintenance of linear accelerators and associated equipment troubleshooting and technical problem-solving in complex technical systems installation, verification, commissioning, and technical documentation work with quality controls, control and information systems participation in development and improvement projects close collaboration with hospital physicists, healthcare staff, and external suppliers Longer-term, you will also work with the region's cyclotron and equipment for radiopharmaceutical production.
