What We Offer You Björkhagaskolan is a two-parallel F-6 school located in central Söderköping with proximity to outdoor swimming, library, sports hall, ice rink, forest and nature. The activities are conducted in two buildings, Haga and Björkbacken. In the Haga building, our afterschool programs for grades F and 1 are located, and at Björkbacken there are afterschool programs for grades 2-6. Grades F, 1 and 4 have their classrooms in Haga, grades 2-6 at Björkbacken. The afterschool program is organized F-1 and 2-6 in tracks, H-classes and E-classes respectively. There are four departments. The basic staffing is three educators in each department. With us, you will meet experienced and knowledgeable colleagues to support you in your work. There are well-established routines and structures to rely on. Söderköping Municipality conducts joint work on professional development for the afterschool programs, with continuous meetings for all educators. At these meetings, you will meet colleagues from other schools' afterschool programs and exchange experiences with them. Among other things, we work with motivation initiatives, which is a tool for developing students' self-leadership and well-being. Job Description We are now seeking a new colleague for one of our F-1 departments. During the school day, you work in preschool class where you, together with two other afterschool teachers, conduct instruction with afterschool pedagogical content, such as outdoor education. If you have certification in art or physical education, you may have the opportunity to teach these subjects. You also assist during transitions and supervise recess. During afterschool program time, you work in one of our F-1 departments, where you and your colleagues are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction. The afterschool program works based on a well-established yearly cycle. Progression is ensured through a shared yearly curriculum framework. Qualifications You are a trained afterschool teacher. You have a holistic view of the task and consider the best interests of the entire operation. You are creative, engaged, and bring your own ideas and suggestions for improvements. You like taking responsibility and enjoy driving things forward to make things happen. You understand the value of good relationships with students and guardians and work to establish them. You are good at collaborating with others where you can both listen in and contribute your own opinions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
