Teacher Grades PreK-3 at Granelundsskolan, Temporary Position

Granelundsskolan is a modern PreK–6 school with after-school care that opened in fall 2025. The school is located in the northern part of Tranås with close proximity to both nature and the city center. Here, students and staff meet in bright, well-equipped facilities that create excellent conditions for learning and development. We have purpose-built rooms for music, physical education, art, home and consumer studies, and crafts. Our work is characterized by close collaboration between school leadership, student support services, and educators, where we together create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for every student. We are now seeking a teacher for grades PreK-3 who wants to be part of developing our work and contribute to ensuring all students have the best possible conditions to succeed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher in grades PreK–3, you are responsible for planning, implementing, following up on, and developing instruction based on the curriculum objectives and students' various needs. You will be part of a teaching team with engaged and competent colleagues where collaboration, exchange of experiences, and collegial learning are a natural part of daily work. Together, you will work to create instruction that sparks curiosity, desire to learn, and gives every student the opportunity to reach their full potential. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who holds teacher certification with authorization to teach grades PreK–3. You are an engaged and confident educator with a genuine interest in students' learning and development. You build good relationships, create a productive learning environment, and meet each student based on their individual circumstances. To succeed in this role, we see that you: have strong pedagogical ability and can adapt instruction to students' various needs, are clear in your communication and create structure and security in the classroom, have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work environment, are flexible and see opportunities in change and development, are confident and stable even in challenging situations and serve as a good role model for students.
