We are approximately 40 employees in total. The clinic provides specialized psychiatric care for all psychiatric conditions including mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, and ADHD. The psychiatric outpatient clinic in Sandviken serves three municipalities: Sandviken, Hofors, and Ockelbo, covering approximately 55,000 residents. Department A4 is an acute medical care unit. With us, you will meet and care for patients in need of both acute and planned postoperative care with a focus on upper and lower gastrointestinal, thoracic, vascular, urology, ENT, and oncology surgery patients. The department has 18 care beds and, if needed, two overflow beds. About the Operations Nursing Assistant, welcome to Department 22! Department 22 is a unit specializing in lung, gastroenterological, and hematological diseases. Our goal is to open more care beds as soon as possible to meet the need for medical care beds within our specialty. Within pulmonary medicine, the largest diagnostic groups are COPD, lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis, and various drainage procedures in the pleural cavity. Gastroenterological diseases include inflammatory bowel diseases and liver cirrhosis and its complications. In the hematological field, we treat acute leukemias, multiple myeloma, and lymphomas.
