You will also assist physicians and nurses in clinic operations and manage our medical-technical equipment. Staffing our reception desk may also be part of your responsibilities. The Gynecology Clinic in Mora is part of Women's Healthcare in Dalarna. We have approximately 5,000 visits per year. The clinic provides investigation and treatment of gynecological and obstetric conditions. Responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you will be offered varied work tasks. You will have rotating duties. You will assist doctors with gynecological examinations and outpatient procedures, where as a nursing assistant you have a central role and are an important part of the team. Reception work, specimen collection, inventory management, and restocking materials are other tasks included. You will also be trained in the roles of fire safety officer and safety representative for the clinic. Work is during weekdays without weekends, during office hours, which allows you to plan your free time as well. This means you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within healthcare and care. For those who are offered employment with us at Region Dalarna after July 1, it means that the title in your employment contract will be Care Assistant until you can present your certificate. About the Operations Nursing Assistant, welcome to Department 22! Department 22 is a unit specializing in lung, gastroenterological, and hematological diseases. Our goal is to open more care beds as soon as possible to meet the need for medical care beds within our specialty. Within pulmonary medicine, the largest diagnostic groups are COPD, lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis, and various drainage procedures in the pleural cavity. Gastroenterological diseases include inflammatory bowel diseases and liver cirrhosis and its complications. In the hematological field, we treat acute leukemias, multiple myeloma, and lymphomas. The work involves standard nursing assistant tasks on a care ward with good patient care for those requiring inpatient care due to illness. The work also includes palliative and psycho-social work with often severely ill patients.
