The Infectious Diseases Clinic is a county and regional clinic with broad operations and has the status of a University Healthcare Unit. The clinic has a care ward with 19 beds and an outpatient clinic for acute and planned care. At Infectious Diseases, patients with infections throughout the body are cared for and treated or investigated for conditions such as sepsis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and Covid-19. The Infectious Diseases Ward offers varied, exciting, and developmental work in a pleasant team environment with fluctuating pace. You will learn the latest in advanced infectious disease care and gain comprehensive nursing knowledge and experience. We work in teams across different professions, which gives us an understanding of each other's importance. We have found that this creates greater awareness and broader knowledge. We are now seeking nursing assistants for the infectious diseases ward. 4 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. No two days are alike on the ward. You work closely with patients in daily care alongside your colleagues to identify risks, assess, address, and evaluate patients' various care needs. General nursing care, specimen collection, monitoring, documentation, and certain tasks related to cleaning, kitchen, and supplies may also be part of your role. You will be offered individually adapted orientation of at least 4 weeks. To facilitate the balance between work and leisure, you have the option of participating in a working time arrangement (working time model 1) with us. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with accredited nursing assistant training. We would like to see experience with inpatient care. Since nursing assistant is a protected title, you need to provide a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen), or alternatively a service certificate that qualifies you under Socialstyrelsen's transitional provisions and allows you to use the title until June 30, 2033. You have the ability to prioritize, are thorough and responsible. You have teamwork skills and see the benefits of working in a team while also having the ability to work independently.
