The Gynecology Clinic in Mora is part of Women's Healthcare in Dalarna. We have approximately 5,000 visits per year. The clinic provides investigation and treatment of gynecological and obstetric conditions. Responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you will be offered varied work tasks. You will have rotating duties. You will assist doctors with gynecological examinations and outpatient procedures, where as a nursing assistant you have a central role and are an important part of the team. Reception work, specimen collection, inventory management, and restocking materials are other tasks included. You will also be trained in the roles of fire safety officer and safety representative for the clinic. Work is during weekdays without weekends, during office hours, which allows you to plan your free time as well. Qualifications Requirements: Trained nursing assistant who has completed the Healthcare and Care Program or the vocational package Healthcare and Care through adult education Merits: Program specialization in Acute Care and Medicine 2 (if you completed the earlier Healthcare and Care Program) Several years of experience in the profession Personal Qualities: We are looking for someone with an interest in gynecology and obstetrics. You need to be flexible, responsible, and confident in your role as a nursing assistant, with good communication skills towards patients and colleagues. You are a person who is thorough and curious about new tasks. An interest in technology is a plus. Welcome to apply! Application Information Information about the Profession Title As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within healthcare and care. You can apply for the certificate from July 1, 2023 onwards. If you do not have a certificate, you can continue to work in healthcare and care but with a different title than nursing assistant. For those who are offered employment with us at Region Dalarna after July 1, it means that the title in your employment contract will be Care Assistant until you can present your certificate. If you had a permanent position with the title nursing assistant when the new regulations took effect on July 1, 2023, you can continue to use the nursing assistant title for 10 years. You can retain the title even if you change workplace/employer after July 1. After that, you will need a certificate for a protected professional title to use the nursing assistant title.
