One of the units within Support and Treatment is the Adult Support Unit. Our unit currently consists of 25 dedicated, knowledgeable, and unpretentious staff members engaged in preventive, supportive, treatment-oriented, and outreach-based social work targeting adults. The Adult Support Unit contains several different teams with different tasks and is led by a unit manager and three group leaders. WORK TASKS As a coordinator/case manager within the coordinator team Housing First, you work with adults who have experienced long-term homelessness often with substance use problems and/or other complex social issues. The client receives their own housing without requirements for sobriety or accepting other services, and the goal of the intervention is permanent housing and taking over the lease.
