Description We are looking for an assistive device technician for our Assistive Device Services. We are seeking someone who is trained as an assistive device technician or has equivalent qualifications. Our facilities are located in Våxnäs, where assistive device technicians, repair technicians, warehouse staff, reception personnel, and a coordinator work together. Duties Work in Assistive Device Services involves repairing, reconditioning, and cleaning assistive devices. It also includes performing preventive maintenance on the assistive devices available at our residential facilities. Work is performed both at the service facility and in the homes of service users. Transportation and retrieval of assistive devices are also part of the role. Together with other team members, you are responsible for inventory management and ordering of assistive devices and spare parts, receiving work orders from the service, and administrative responsibilities in IT systems. Assistive Device Services is part of Homerehab, which also includes occupational therapists and physical therapists. About You Formal Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience in assembly or manufacturing within the industry and who enjoys meticulous, repetitive work. You have upper secondary education, preferably with an industrial focus, and good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing to be able to follow instructions and safety procedures. You are punctual, responsible, and can work efficiently. Meritorious It is advantageous if you have previous experience in circuit board manufacturing or precision assembly within the electronics industry. Experience from similar production environments where quality, pace, and collaboration are central is also an advantage. If you additionally have basic knowledge of English and some experience with simple IT systems or production support systems, it will facilitate the work and contribute to a smoother introduction to the role of assembler. Leisure Leader – Arena Satelliten music, culture and sports under one roof Arena Satelliten is a 5,300 sqm facility with youth programs, two sports halls and several creative spaces. It includes the Youth House, Indra trans queer and girls center, various sports associations and schools. Our youth programs are part of the KEKS network and serve young people aged 16–25. We work in a socially disadvantaged area where safety is the foundation of everything we do. We are not a traditional youth center – here, young people are engaged, responsible and co-creators. Together we create festivals, youth parties, cosplay events, e-sports, rock nights, courses, exhibition openings and much more. Creativity and youth empowerment are always at the center. Job Description As a leisure leader with us, you will have a unique and dynamic role working closely with young people and leading groups in both everyday activities and larger events. You will play a central role in the youth group Youth Against Violence, where the focus is on event safety and security. You will lead and coach youth groups at various events and work both independently and in teams. Periodically we organize larger events and festivals. This involves setting up and running activities together with young people, which means a faster pace, longer workdays and both mental and physical demands. The work takes place mainly on weekdays but also some weekends. This is a role for you if you want to work closely with young people, thrive in dynamic environments and want to create safe, creative and meaningful contexts. Qualifications Experience working with young people and/or young adults. You are a trained leisure leader or have another qualification that the employer considers equivalent and relevant. B-class driver's license Meritorious Training in event safety Experience with the KEKS network (Quality and competence in collaboration) methods and trainings Knowledge of the Charter (European principles and guidelines for local open youth and leisure activities) As a person, you create a sense of safety, take natural overall responsibility and enjoy leading and developing both people and operations. You lead by being a clear and pedagogical role model, plan well, manage multiple tasks at once and find creative solutions. You have the ability to adjust pace and maintain focus even during intensive periods with high workload.
