Evening and Weekend Clinic Skåne (KHM Skåne) is a further development of our current ten local evening and weekend clinics in Region Skåne. By establishing KHM Skåne, we want to improve and simplify accessibility for Skåne residents who need unscheduled urgent primary care in the evenings and on weekends. For this reason, we are centralizing phone triage and appointment booking for our evening and weekend clinics. KHM Skåne's mission consists of two parts, and as a nurse you will have the opportunity to work within both. One part consists of centralized triage and advice via phone, as well as booking appointments if, as a nurse, you assess that the patient needs clinical evaluation. The other part consists of KHM Skåne being our internal resource team, where you as a nurse work clinically at our local evening and weekend clinics in Region Skåne. Our central phone unit is located in newly renovated and fresh premises at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) Malmö, right by Södervärn. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your work at our central phone unit, you will provide advice and triage via phone as well as book appointments. In clinical work at our local evening and weekend clinics, you will perform nursing tasks common in urgent primary care such as clinic work, triage, and advice. We offer exciting, fast-paced, and varied work where you get to be part of starting and influencing a new operation while developing further in your role as a nurse. When you start with us, you will receive an introduction to the different parts of the work, which we try to adapt based on your experience so that you join the operation in a safe and good way. Work hours are scheduled for evenings and weekends. If you are interested in a combined position, we see the possibility of offering, for example, work within 1177 or another suitable operation within the region that has needs. QUALIFICATIONS You like to take responsibility and make your own decisions based on your experience and given tools, while valuing and managing teamwork well. You need to have an empathetic and attentive approach where the principle of equal treatment is fundamental to you. You also have high readiness to act, excellent interpersonal skills, and can adjust your planning according to the situation, since the position involves different work tasks at different workplaces. In your work team, you create a good work climate through your engagement, curiosity, and positive attitude. We welcome you as a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and with several years of experience in acute care or primary care. It is a merit if you have specialist training, are a trained district nurse, or have previous experience with phone advice and triage. Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
