The Role of Activation Pedagogue with Us As an activation pedagogue in the individual program at adapted upper secondary school, you work with students who need clear and individualized support in their learning. You implement and follow up on students' learning based on each student's abilities, needs, and goals, with a focus on developing knowledge, independence, and the ability to manage daily life and future working life. You work in the school team and follow the school's calendar. Your responsibilities include working in teams and classroom work groups; your responsibility toward students is based on the teacher's planning and structure regarding what knowledge students should acquire. In the individual program, students study subject areas including individual and society, nature and environment, language and communication, physical education and health, home economics, and aesthetics activities. You will work according to the individual program's curriculum at adapted upper secondary school. You are flexible and able to adapt with good capability, are creative, and use AAC—alternative communication. Teaching takes place in various environments: outdoor settings, classrooms, and the local area. You will be part of a work team with several activation pedagogues where you work both collaboratively and independently. In your role as activation pedagogue with us, you are flexible and adaptable as students' support needs vary. Therefore, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and enjoy being part of a work team that works toward the same goals, where student development is in focus. You are interested in creating, maintaining, and nurturing good relationships with both colleagues and students and guardians. You have a strong ability to communicate with and lead young people. Together with your colleagues, you plan and organize your work efficiently. You express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing, as this is required in daily work.
