Job Description You will meet individuals with various medical diagnoses of varying severity where admissions and discharges, acute care, medical treatment, and monitoring continue around the clock. The operation has an open communication climate with daily reflection and feedback where all employees participate. Daily work is highly varied and you will work together around the patient with the rest of the team. At AVA there are three care units, one of which provides IMA care. About 50 employees work at AVA—a competent group consisting of professions such as nursing assistants, nurses, and staff coordinators. AVA is an operation with great expertise and high ambition levels where we work closely together with a clear patient focus. We are a flexible operation that takes responsibility, supports each other, and continuously develops our approach with the patient in focus. AVA has 16 beds distributed across three care units. Here we care for patients who need more time than can be offered in the emergency department. At AVA, we monitor, stabilize, investigate, and treat patients for 1–2 days. Patients with longer hospital care needs are transferred to other units. AVA also has a unit with four beds for intermediate care for patients who are too ill to be cared for on a regular ward but who at the same time do not fully require intensive care. You will receive individualized orientation lasting up to six weeks, with both theory and practice alongside experienced colleagues. After approximately one year at AVA, the next step is planned—orientation at IMA where you care for patients in more critical conditions.
