Job Description Within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, you work with a complex and important societal mission where you can make a difference. As a manager, you lead, develop, and follow up on operations and provide support to your employees in daily work. The role includes personnel, budget, and work environment responsibility for your employees. Most employees at the detention center are correctional officers, some with specific functional assignments. The operations also include case officers, nurses, duty commanders, and administrative staff. You are part of the management team where the head of the correctional facility and your colleagues form an important platform for your leadership. Business travel may occur. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is engaged, takes initiative, and has the ability to achieve results. You motivate others and create conditions for reaching common goals together. You build and maintain relationships. You communicate clearly, follow up, and create participation. You also have good analytical skills and handle complex issues and problems in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
