During school terms, I attend school and after-school programs, where I communicate using pictures. In my free time, I like to be outdoors. My "roll" has a third wheel so I can get around almost anywhere. I can stand on my own feet and train regularly in my standing frame (at least 60 min/day). I love music very much. Others might get tired of hearing the same songs over and over again, but I become happy and calm from music I recognize. Routines are important to me and my assistants work systematically throughout the day to create clarity. Since I don't have spoken language, there is sometimes some frustration. It is important that you see early signs and can redirect me in time. It is important that I know what is going to happen and feel prepared. When people don't understand me, I can become "lightning angry" and maybe throw something on the floor or wave my arms. Then it's important that you as an assistant stay calm and don't get scared.
