Temporary Personal Assistant for Woman in Smygehamn

We are seeking engaged and reliable personal assistants on a temporary hourly basis for a 45-year-old woman living in a house with a small garden between Trelleborg and Ystad (within Trelleborg municipality). Our client lives with several chronic conditions, including EDS, Autism, and ME, which means that daily condition and functional level can vary significantly from day to day. As an assistant, you will be a central part of creating a safe, predictable, and meaningful daily life where the client's self-determination and participation are at the center. The work tasks are broad and encompass support in all aspects of daily living—personal hygiene, assistance with dressing, meals, and household chores. Beyond practical support, you will participate in activities that are important to the client. There is interest in cooking/baking, theater, cinema and film, and gardening in the private garden. If you as an assistant are also handy or technically interested, that is an added plus, as simple practical solutions in the home may be needed and help with technical aids is sometimes used. It is important that you are calm, quiet, positive, flexible, and solution-oriented—qualities that help you handle varying daily conditions and create security for the client. Experience in personal assistance is an asset but not a requirement; the right attitude, respect for privacy, and willingness to learn are crucial. We value good communication skills and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and following routines for safety and security. Working hours are 09:30–19:30, and the position is a temporary hourly job, which means availability during these times is a requirement. Because public transportation does not align with working hours, a driver's license and access to your own car is a prerequisite. Experience and Qualifications • Relevant experience working as a personal assistant or in care is an asset but not a requirement. • Driver's license and access to your own car is a requirement due to working hours and location. • Basic knowledge of working with people who have neuropsychiatric disabilities and chronic illnesses is an asset. • Basic ability to perform household chores, assist with personal hygiene, and support daily activities. • Ability to follow routines, document, and communicate regarding the client's needs (it is an asset if you have experience with documentation in healthcare/care).
