Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to persons who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique and your work tasks vary based on the client's needs. You safeguard the client's self-determination and integrity, and help make everyday life run smoothly. The role of personal assistant makes high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Have you retired but feel you still have plenty of professional joy, warmth, and experience to give? We are looking for you—a reliable and experienced former nursing assistant or nurse who wants to work as a personal assistant. About the assignment: The care needs vary, but with your solid background, you will quickly understand and be able to meet the needs with professionalism and empathy. The work tasks will revolve around care, social activities, transfers, cooking/baking, and managing someone else's home. You must have a driver's license, and some of our clients have cats and dogs in their homes. We are looking for women, and you must speak fluent Swedish, as this is a priority wish of the clients.
