He receives food by being fed and gets fluids through the tube since he doesn't like drinking on his own. He wears a brace due to scoliosis, foot orthotics, and uses various aids in daily life such as a lift and standing frame. For outdoor activities, he gets around in a wheelchair. Indoors, he loves being on the floor where he can roll around, play, and have fun with his siblings. Music, dancing, and water play are some of his absolute favorite things and often fill his days with joy. As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in his daily life. The work includes helping with meals, personal care, transfers, stretching according to schedule, and participating in play and activities based on his needs and mood. Awake Night Caregiver for Child Client
We are looking for you to work as a personal caregiver providing awake night care for one of our child clients living in Kalmar. At the client's request, we are seeking a female personal caregiver aged 20-60 years. In this role, you will help our client with everything in daily life. The client is a child with extensive care needs including inhalations, etc. The client sleeps with a CPAP mask, which means there is active work for the caregiver working nights. As a caregiver you are empathetic, calm, secure, and not afraid of physical closeness. The client has no communication abilities, so it is essential that you as a caregiver are especially attentive and have relevant experience. As a caregiver you work in the client's home and therefore need to be responsive and work actively based on the client's needs.
