Welcome to Biomedical Technology at Hospitals in the West At Medical Technology within Hospitals in the West, a total of 16 engineers and technicians work together in 5 different technical teams. Our primary task is to ensure that equipment is safe to use for both patients and staff. Our customers are primarily our four hospitals, as well as Community and Regional Health services in our service area. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is outgoing, has good customer service skills, and well-developed collaboration abilities. It is very important that you can handle tasks of varying nature, have a strong ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel, and are stress-resilient. We value responsibility and quality awareness highly and place great emphasis on your personal qualities, as client meetings are a daily part of the work to build your network for good collaboration. What we offer you You should preferably have experience working with biomedical equipment such as blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, and equipment used in outpatient care. You will be part of the mechatronics technical team. Your placement will primarily be in Kungälv. We work in a team-based manner, which means that planned maintenance is performed on-site at one of Hospitals in the West's four hospital locations or within Regional or Community Health centers or clinics. Business travel occurs one or several times per week during daytime hours. Main tasks include preventive and corrective maintenance on biomedical equipment. Depending on your competence and potential, your assignment may also include participation in procurement processes and conducting training initiatives for healthcare staff, among others. Description BUP Affektiv mottagning Kungälv is part of the Psychiatry Department at Kungälvs sjukhus and is located at Rollsbovägen 58 in Kungälv. There are good connections to Gothenburg. Child and adolescent psychiatry at Kungälvs sjukhus has a clinic in Stenungsund and two clinics in Kungälv. Duties Assessments and treatment interventions directed at children and adolescents with psychiatric issues who, for various reasons, have difficulty attending the clinic or school, or in cases where an intervention at home would be particularly important. This could include, for example, following up subacute patients or providing interventions aimed at children and/or parents to help the child attend school or keep their scheduled appointment at the clinic. Work is carried out on assignment from one of the BUP clinics and in consultation with the unit manager but is performed independently. The Transport Department (TA) is tasked with transporting and supervising incarcerated persons. These are clients of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service who are moved between remand facilities and prisons, to court hearings, hospitals, and more. TA also transports incarcerated persons on behalf of, for example, the Police, the National Board of Institutional Care, the Migration Agency, and psychiatric services. You will meet a wide variety of clients of different ages with different backgrounds and experiences. You will conduct searches, apply restraints to clients, and supervise clients during transport. The Transport Department's assignments are varied, which means your working hours can change from day to day. Evening, night, and weekend work may be included. The times in the schedule are frame hours, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Nationally, it is more common to finish before the frame time ends, and in most cases you have a consistent start time. Frame hours mean that the employer can adjust your start and end times. Changes are communicated before the previous shift ends. For example, a shift could be between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (12 hours) or 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (7 hours). Working hours are reconciled every three months. If you have worked more than expected, you will receive overtime pay. If you have worked less than expected, you will still receive your regular salary.
