Product Owner
We are looking for a Product Owner for an exciting assignment Assignment Description We are seeking a Product Owner for one of our customer's product areas within SCADA and associated control and monitoring systems for facility management. The assignment involves overall responsibility for leading the product area based on the organization's needs, strategic goals, and long-term development. The Product Owner is responsible for prioritizing and managing the backlog, gathering and clarifying requirements from the business, and making decisions about development efforts within the product area. The role also involves ensuring that requirements and priorities support the strategic direction and creating alignment between the business, IT, and management. The product area is relatively new and requires active leadership to establish a well-functioning and efficient team with clear working methods, priorities, and collaboration practices. At the same time, the area is facing a major modernization where the current SCADA platform will be gradually replaced and the entire environment migrated to a new platform over the coming years. The work is being driven in project form, but the Product Owner participates in steering and planning the project, which requires close collaboration with the project manager. The project includes, among other things, procurement of the new platform, implementation, migration planning, and operational adjustments. This must be carried out in parallel with facility expansion, which places high demands on holistic thinking, prioritization ability, and the capacity to balance ongoing needs with long-term transition. The customer recently transitioned from PM3-inspired management to an agile operational management model. Since this is a role in a client organization, we are not primarily seeking technical competence, but rather a person with the ability to take on business-focused, strategic, and coordinating responsibility. To succeed in the role, you need to have strong analytical abilities, a holistic perspective, and experience working both strategically and operatively. You also need to have experience leading change work related to management establishment, platform migrations, or major implementations in complex environments. Experience with both traditional management governance and agile working methods is a requirement. Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both written and verbal, are required. Mandatory Requirements At least 9 years of project management experience, of which at least 6 years from the public sector. At least 3 projects/assignments with responsibility for establishing management within SCADA and OT areas, both according to agile models and PM3. At least 7 years of experience planning management work that includes operational management plans, tactical roadmaps, and long-term strategic planning.
