You will contribute your medical expertise to student health work and be an important collaborator for principals, counselors, special education teachers, and other professionals within student health services. At both schools, there is a clear focus on attendance work. Your role therefore includes participating in efforts to promote school attendance, supporting students in need of special measures, and contributing to absence investigations. You will also be involved in preventive work by meeting student groups and participating in activities that strengthen students' health and well-being. Your Profile We are looking for a registered nurse with specialist training as a district nurse, children's nurse, or school nurse. Experience working as a school nurse is an advantage, as is experience working with young people or in upper secondary schools. As a person, you are confident, organized, and skilled at building trusting relationships. We are now recruiting casual staff who want to help shape our operations together with us. We are recruiting casual staff for two units: Ånestadsgatan 156 in Smedby, an established facility, and Vägstumpen 1 in Svärtinge, a new unit starting in autumn 2026. Ideally, you will work at both units or one of them, where you will become an important part of creating a strong team. Our operations have seven residential places in total. The children and young people living in our facilities have various disabilities, different backgrounds, and individual needs. The operation has a high staff-to-resident ratio and we have 24-hour staffing with both awake night shift and sleeping on-call duty. With us, the children and young people are always at the center, where we work purposefully to promote their independence and create a safe and adapted living environment based on their individual needs and circumstances. Your responsibilities Work in the operation is based on each individual's implementation plan. Our goal is to work toward ensuring that each individual becomes as independent and secure as possible to develop according to their abilities.
