The team currently consists of two full-time nurses, and we now want to expand the team with an additional 2 full-time nurses. Our goal is clear: we see a need to strengthen quality, especially in areas such as presence, communication, and care at the end of life. Therefore, we are now investing in developing our work methods in a more structured and knowledge-based manner. The palliative team is based at Hantverkaregatan 51 but works at various facilities throughout the municipality. Your tasks This is a role for someone who wants to work at an advanced level within palliative care. In this role, you will work across the entire municipality. You will provide qualified support to facilities and staff. The role also includes driving development, education, and improvement work, as well as analyzing results and implementing concrete measures. You will support the facilities by guiding and creating conditions for employees to develop their work. You lead others by delegating responsibility based on the individual's knowledge, experience, and capabilities, and by giving people the opportunity and authority to make decisions within their area of responsibility. The task in this role is to contribute to more equitable, secure, and professional palliative care. You will also actively work with follow-up through the Swedish Palliative Registry. You will work in the palliative team at 100%, except during the months of June, July, and August when you work as a nurse at one of the units in area 3. Who are you? For this role, you must be a licensed nurse. You have experience working as a nurse and preferably experience in palliative care. You have a talent for creating and developing good relationships and collaborations and are committed to building trusting cooperation with colleagues and facilities. Furthermore, you are someone who remains calm, works systematically, and maintains focus on the task even in stressful situations. You have high quality standards for your own work and actively work to develop both your own and the facility's work methods. You follow up on results, use them in improvement work, and contribute to high quality in palliative care. You have a person-centered approach and always start from the patient's needs. By understanding and meeting the needs of patients and their loved ones, you contribute to secure, professional, and quality care. A category B driver's license is a requirement for this position.
