JENSEN Gymnasium and Realgymnasiet in Örebro are now seeking a school nurse who wants to combine their role between two upper secondary schools with a strong student focus and close collaboration within student health services. At JENSEN Gymnasium, you will meet approximately 240 students in a study environment characterized by high ambitions, academic focus, and strong community. The school is centrally located in Örebro and actively works to create good conditions for both learning and well-being. JENSEN is part of a larger educational organization while being characterized by close collaboration within the local school. Realgymnasiet Örebro is located in fresh, bright facilities on Aspholmen. There is proximity to train and bus services as well as free parking. Realgymnasiet Örebro is part of Lärande i Sverige. We know that meaningful learning begins with students' personal interests. The position is 70-80% depending on your preferences and the schools' needs. Time will be divided between both schools. What the School Offers Here you will have the opportunity to combine two stimulating roles in schools where student health services play an important role in operations. You will become part of a well-functioning student health team with close collaboration between different professions and leadership characterized by trust, support, and flexibility. At both schools, there are established networks and good conditions for sharing experiences with other school nurses. You will receive orientation, access to medical leadership responsibility functions, and support from colleagues and managers. This is a position for you if you want to combine close interaction with students in smaller school environments with the security of being part of two larger organizations. Here you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and make a difference every day. Your Responsibilities As a school nurse, you will be a natural part of the schools' student health teams and work in health promotion, prevention, and intervention. You will conduct health conversations, offer counseling and support to students, and collaborate with guardians, school staff, and external partners when needed. You will contribute your medical expertise to student health work and be an important collaborator for principals, counselors, special education teachers, and other professionals within student health services. At both schools, there is a clear focus on attendance work. Your role therefore includes participating in efforts to promote school attendance, supporting students in need of special measures, and contributing to absence investigations. You will also be involved in preventive work by meeting student groups and participating in activities that strengthen students' health and well-being. Your Profile We are looking for a registered nurse with specialist training as a district nurse, children's nurse, or school nurse. Experience working as a school nurse is an advantage, as is experience working with young people or in upper secondary schools. As a person, you are confident, organized, and skilled at building trusting relationships. You thrive in collaboration with other professionals and see the value of working together for the student's benefit. At the same time, you are self-directed and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work based on the schools' needs. We also believe that you are driven by preventive student health work and see opportunities to contribute to a school environment where students can develop, feel well, and succeed in their studies.
