Technical Sales Representative at Fortiva

Why You Matter Successful industrial sales begin with understanding your customer's production. What needs to be manufactured? How can the process be made smarter? And where are the opportunities to save time, reduce costs, or get more out of existing machines? As a technical sales representative at Fortiva, you'll receive your own district and an established customer portfolio within the metal machining industry. You'll build on existing business relationships, get to know your customers' operations, and discover new opportunities together with them. Supporting you are Fortiva's technical specialists and a broad range of offerings in cutting machining. This role suits you if you enjoy combining technology, sales, people skills, and value the freedom to plan your own day while visiting customers. About Fortiva Fortiva is the player with one of the market's broadest tool selection from world-leading brands in drilling, turning, milling, cutting, and clamping. We live as our customers have taught us—Swedish companies born from entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and steely determination. Our offering extends beyond individual tools. By understanding your customer's production and analyzing the entire process, we help find solutions that increase productivity and improve profitability. We also offer regrinding services for both cutting and cutting tools. Fortiva is part of Latour Industries and is in an exciting development phase with clear growth ambitions in the Nordic region. Your Focus You'll take over an established district in and around Norrköping, Linköping, and northern Småland. Customers vary in size and needs, so you'll adjust your presence and engagement accordingly. You'll spend much of your time in the field, visiting customers regularly. Between visits, you'll plan your sales activities, schedule meetings, prepare quotes, and handle administration from your home office. Your primary task is to sell Fortiva's expertise. To do this, you need to understand what your customer manufactures and be able to have relevant conversations about turning, milling, and drilling. Together, you'll explore how work can be done more efficiently and how manufacturing costs can be impacted. You work independently with your district while having close access to colleagues and specialist expertise when needed. What We're Looking For We believe you have experience from the manufacturing industry and a good understanding of cutting machining. You don't need to be a technical specialist, but you should understand production well enough to ask the right questions and have credible conversations with customers. We'd like to see that you have: Sales experience within or to the manufacturing industry. Good knowledge of cutting machining. Experience working toward budgets and clear sales targets. Familiarity with CRM systems and a structured approach to tracking your business. Ability to work independently and organize your own schedule. Is This the Right Place for You? To succeed, we believe you're curious about both people and production. You don't just want to know what your customer needs today—you also ask what they're planning ahead and what challenges they foresee down the road. You're not afraid to reach out, ask questions, and share ideas. At the same time, you understand the value of building trust over time. What matters is that you know where your time will have the greatest impact and drive your district accordingly. Fortiva is a close-knit organization with around 40 employees, which means short distances between colleagues and diverse expertise. At the same time, there are clear ambitions to grow and develop the business in the Nordic region. For someone who wants to combine independent sales work with the opportunity to grow with the company, there's plenty to build on. Good to Know Location: Norrköping and surrounding area. Permanent employment. You report to the Sales Manager. Show your interest as soon as possible—recruitment is ongoing. For questions, contact Martin Carlbom, [email protected] or 076-163 02 12.
