Work Duties As a social secretary within the Health, Care and Social Services Administration, standard housing unit, you are responsible for investigating the individual's needs, making decisions on interventions, and following up on the quality of these interventions. Your daily work consists of handling incoming phone calls, documenting, conducting individual meetings, and participating in coordinated individual planning sessions. The work also involves collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Your duties also include contributing with colleagues to the unit's development work with a focus on quality improvement. The unit consists of approximately 60 social secretaries working within a schedule-based structure. We have three senior social secretaries who offer regular case supervision as well as support and guidance in daily work.
