Eltel has won new business and we need to strengthen our team in Skåne (Malmö) with more technicians!😊 What are my work tasks? ⚡👷‍♀️⚒️ As a technician with us, you maintain critical infrastructure; you build and service the communication networks of the future, plain and simple. The work tasks mainly consist of building property and office networks, installing outlets, installing equipment – e.g. screens or projectors – basically what's needed in an office environment. Examples of work tasks: Lay fiber and copper networks Install outlets and access points Install equipment in conference rooms Install data network cables to new workstations Install cable trays Connect copper Troubleshooting Minor electrical work In some cases, lighter electrical work as well as welding and blowing of fiber may occur. Work is usually performed indoors. As a technician, you have many different contacts – both with our production planner who distributes and assigns work to available technicians and with the customer when needed. Sometimes you need to make sure you obtain what's needed to solve the customer's problem yourself, in which case communication is A and O. You report your time daily via phone or computer and report continuously during and after completed work. Of course, you maintain close contact with our production planner and our customers so that they are updated on how the work is progressing. You mainly work in Skåne but travel may occur as we always help each other on the team when needed. To succeed in this role, we believe you: Have a high school education with a technical focus or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways A genuine interest in technology Have good Swedish in speech and writing and good understanding of English Have a B driving license for manual transmission As a person, you are engaged and do what it takes to solve the task and are driven by maintaining high customer satisfaction. You are independent and find it easy to communicate with both colleagues and customers.
