The operation's mission is to perform and develop molecular biology analyses for all specialty clinics within laboratory medicine, such as pathology, genetics, microbiology, pharmacology, chemistry, and immunology and transfusion medicine. The operation is research-intensive and method and operational development are a natural part of the work. Job Description You will be part of our daily operations and may work with different areas and techniques within the assignment area of Precision Medicine Laboratory (PL). The basic work of registering samples and results, sending samples to other laboratories, and other tasks that are part of laboratory work is a natural part of the job. Currently, there is a need for employees who primarily perform analyses within the specialty area of clinical genetics. The laboratory performs analyses regarding fetal diagnostics and diagnostics of genetically determined diseases and syndromes. Methods used include DNA extraction, Sanger sequencing, microarray, chromosome analysis, NGS, and more, as well as analysis and interpretation of molecular data. You will receive structured introduction and training in the methods and work tasks included in the position. Working with us is varied and stimulating, and you get to work in an area in rapid development where new research findings are translated into clinical diagnostics.
