Our operating department provides anesthesia and operating room services for various surgical specialties. Here, high-tech advanced surgical care and acute management of trauma patients are performed. ANOPIVA is Region Östergötland's largest clinic and provides operating room services within all surgical specialties except thoracic/vascular surgery. Our units conduct both elective and emergency surgery with operations running around the clock.
During the nights, you will meet patients in acute and often life-threatening situations. Here, high-tech surgery is combined with quick decision-making, structured teamwork, and broad medical expertise.
As an operating room nurse on night shift, you will care for patients who need surgery during nighttime hours across all sections. Acute procedures during nights include trauma orthopedics, abdominal, urological, and gynecological surgery. Advanced emergency surgery within the central nervous system and airways, as well as acute pediatric surgical procedures.
What is common for all sections is a strong team focus, high specialization, and a work environment where your expertise makes a real difference – every night.

Job Description
As an operating room nurse at night, you will work with emergency surgery for all sections of the operating department at ANOPIVA. Depending on your previous experience, you will receive individualized orientation.

About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist education in operating room nursing and have a special interest in acute surgery. We would like you to have several years of experience working as an operating room nurse.
You should have good Swedish language skills in speaking and writing as you will be communicating with patients, family members, and colleagues. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and maturity.
The work is characterized by excitement and variety where your flexibility and problem-solving skills will be put to use. You are a curious person who wants to contribute to the development of the operations.
It is important that you enjoy teamwork and work well with others in a responsive and flexible manner. Furthermore, you are an engaged person who wants to contribute to a positive and good work environment.
