2nd Cyber Defense Battalion Seeking Purple Team Operator

The Swedish Armed Forces are in an expansion phase and on an extensive growth journey. The Swedish Armed Forces' cyber defense is an integrated part of military defense and constitutes a military strategic resource. Cyber defense has the capability to conduct offensive and defensive cyber operations as well as to detect, identify, and counter threats from the most qualified actors. The effects of a cyber attack can have equally significant consequences for critical societal functions as a conventional armed attack. 2nd Cyber Defense Battalion is part of the Swedish Armed Forces' capability for armed conflict in the cyber domain. We defend the Swedish Armed Forces' command and control systems through both proactive offensive activities and reactive handling of IT security incidents. Our dimensioned adversaries have substantial resources and high competence, which sets high demands on us to protect these systems. The 2nd Cyber Defense Battalion conducts cyber operations 24/7 year-round to protect Sweden and our allies. Main Responsibilities As an operator with us, we see you as part of developing the battalion's operations related to tools and infrastructure. You are a natural part of the operations development and improvement work, and you participate in conducting realistic attack simulations. Your responsibilities may be adapted based on your experience, capabilities, and drive. The battalion's combined resources must be able to operate at all levels of the conflict spectrum, but we may also be used to support society during crises or other serious events, which means the position places certain demands on you as an individual. The role is varied, which requires that you can act independently and have the ability to adapt to new circumstances. You will enter an exciting phase where you have the opportunity to influence both your own development and the battalion's development in operations. Berga Parish in Linköping Cathedral Chapter is a large and growing diverse parish with two churches and approximately 9,000 members of the Church of Sweden. Berga Church is located near Berga Center and is home to many people from other countries, which gives the area a distinctive cultural diversity. The parish's second church is located in Vidingsjö, by an old farmstead in a scenic area with fruit trees and a nearby stream. In both churches we celebrate Mass every Sunday. Berga Parish has a team of 13 people, including 3 priests. Guided by the principles of openness, curiosity, and care, we develop the parish's life together with dedicated volunteers. We are now seeking a priest who wants to contribute to the continued development of the parish. About the Position As a priest with us, you work goal-oriented, independently and in close collaboration with both employees and volunteer staff. Together we take responsibility for Berga Parish's worship life. In Linköping Cathedral Chapter, a joint initiative for confirmation students and youth has been underway for several years. You will be part of a competent confirmation team that views development, change, and new ideas positively. Together with colleagues, you are responsible for the parish's confirmation groups, youth group, and young leaders. In addition to this, the position includes customary priestly duties. About the position We are looking for new student assistants to represent Linköping University in collaborative projects focused on homework support for children and young people in Skäggetorp. As a student assistant, you will work for LiU as part of our efforts to broaden recruitment by participating in various homework help projects in collaboration with other organizations. We work with Stadsmissionen, Erikshjälpen, Somaliska mammor, Röda Korset, Mattecentrum, Linköping Municipality, and Agora (a cultural center in Skäggetorp). Several regular homework support sessions are offered each week for different age groups where you can participate and contribute.
