About the position We are looking for new student assistants to represent Linköping University in collaborative projects focused on homework support for children and young people in Skäggetorp. As a student assistant, you will work for LiU as part of our efforts to broaden recruitment by participating in various homework help projects in collaboration with other organizations. We work with Stadsmissionen, Erikshjälpen, Somaliska mammor, Röda Korset, Mattecentrum, Linköping Municipality, and Agora (a cultural center in Skäggetorp). Several regular homework support sessions are offered each week for different age groups where you can participate and contribute. In addition to these sessions, special efforts are organized before national exams in mathematics and Swedish for grades 6 and 9 during spring 2027. About you You enjoy meeting new people and sharing your knowledge and experience as a student at LiU. You are responsible, positive, proactive, and enjoy taking your own initiative in your work. Requirements for employment are that you: have completed at least 30 credits at LiU are a registered student at LiU speak and write Swedish fluently without hindrance. It is meritorious if you: have previously worked as a student assistant or in similar work. have led children's or youth activities, organized activities, and provided training/instructions. This could include sports, music, or other leisure activities. have experience in multicultural environments. have at least a C grade in mathematics, English, and Swedish from upper secondary school/Komvux at a level that provides basic eligibility. As a person, you are curious about others and have good social skills. You are patient and calm in your interactions with others and have an interest in conveying and discussing knowledge from different perspectives. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
