Your Responsibilities
We continuously receive needs for production technicians at Saab! Through your application, you have the opportunity to be matched to different positions based on your interests, experiences, and competencies.
As a production technician at Saab, your tasks may vary depending on the assignment and operation, but what is common is that you work close to production with a focus on ensuring efficient, robust, and high-quality processes.
Examples of responsibilities:
Work on development, optimization, and continuous improvement of production processes.
Provide technical support to production and operators in daily work.
Participate in or drive activities related to efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Implement product changes and establish and update instructions and documentation.
Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of machines and equipment.
Work on tools, fixtures, and equipment-related improvements.
Identify and solve technical problems in production.
Contribute to the development of production flows and manufacturability.
Collaborate with internal and external contacts.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who wants to develop within production technology. You are solution-oriented, organized, and thrive in an environment where you can combine practical work with improvement and development tasks.
You have the ability to work both independently and in a team, and are motivated by contributing to an efficient and well-functioning production.
Requirements for the positions:
Post-secondary education in production technology, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or similar.
Experience from manufacturing industry or work close to production.
Good understanding of production processes and technical workflows.
Ability to work in a structured manner and handle both operational and longer-term tasks.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written.
It is meritorious if you have experience with automation, testing, quality, or work with complex products.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, certain citizenship may be required where applicable.
