ST also has members in private companies with connections to government assignments. The Union ST's student activities work to inform students about the job market in the public sector and trade union organization, as well as recruit student members and doctoral students. We want to ensure that our student members understand their rights and have a good start to their work life, as well as guide and inspire them toward job opportunities in the state. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a student informant, you work to organize activities focused on recruiting student members to the Union ST and laying the foundation for them to continue as members after their studies. You make ST's activities and trade union values visible by giving classroom presentations, organizing lectures, staffing information booths and activities with partner organizations, and participating in trade fairs and job market days at your placement location and nearby universities and colleges. Some travel is therefore included in the position. To work as a student informant, you must be outgoing and comfortable meeting new people. You are responsible and have good collaboration skills. Together with your work group, you are primarily responsible for planning work time and carrying out activities. Planning also takes place in consultation with the student ombudsman before the term starts. In the group, you have great opportunities to influence the work as well as how and where you meet students. Working hours as a student informant is 20 hours per month.
