We provide support to people with neuropsychiatric variations, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability who live in residential facilities with special services in Haninge municipality. In 2023, we were among the first municipalities to establish a first and second-level social service, a step in our adaptation for the future of social services and the new social service act. In our activities, we meet children who need coordinated and comprehensive interventions preceded by application and investigation. In our work, we start from a target group focus in which we investigate and coordinate interventions based on evidence and knowledge-based methods in collaboration with other societal actors. The activities consist of four units: a child unit, a youth unit, a unit for interventions and specialized functions, and a unit for foster care and contact activities. Three groups within child investigation, two groups within youth services, and an intervention group as well as intensive investigation, foster care/contact activities, family treatment/parental support, and administrative tasks and other support functions. Social Psychiatry Assessment works with authority functions under the Social Services Act. The unit's overall goal is to create conditions for increased independence for individuals in the target group. As a physiotherapist in disability care, you play an important role in this development and contribute your expertise to strengthen the individual's function, health, and independence in everyday life. Your Assignment The assignment includes interventions in group homes, service apartments, day activities, and social psychiatry. You work closely with users, family members, and staff to create sustainable and individually tailored solutions that promote activity, participation, and quality of life. The position offers an attractive combination of clinical work and operational development. You work independently within your professional area of responsibility while being part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, occupational therapists, and care personnel. You also collaborate with the operation's specialist functions such as the medically responsible nurse (MAS) and medically responsible for rehabilitation (MAR). Work Tasks As a physiotherapist, you are responsible for assessments, investigations, treatments, training, and follow-ups based on the individual's needs and goals. You prescribe, adapt, and follow up on assistive devices to create the best possible conditions for function, activity, and participation in everyday life. The assignment also includes providing advice, guidance, and educational support to users and family members, as well as coaching and educating care personnel in transfer techniques, assistive device management, and rehabilitative work methods. You actively contribute to the operation's systematic quality work through risk assessments, follow-ups, and participation in team meetings and case rounds. The role also involves contributing to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, improving work processes, and evaluating digital solutions that strengthen quality, efficiency, and user benefit. What We're Looking For We are looking for you as a confident and engaged physiotherapist with an interest in both clinical work and operational development. You are driven by implementing knowledge and evidence in practice and see opportunities in change and improvement work. For this position, we require that you: Are a licensed physiotherapist Have experience with documentation, follow-up, and rehabilitative work methods Have experience working according to IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus) Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Have good digital competence and experience working in operational systems It is meritorious if you have experience from municipal health and medical care, elderly care, or LSS operations. We also view experience with operational systems such as Lifecare and Proceedo, as well as quality registers and work tools such as Senior Alert and BPSD, positively. A B driver's license is meritorious.
