In 2023, we were among the first municipalities to establish a first and second-level social service, a step in our adaptation for the future of social services and the new social service act. In our activities, we meet children who need coordinated and comprehensive interventions preceded by application and investigation. In our work, we start from a target group focus in which we investigate and coordinate interventions based on evidence and knowledge-based methods in collaboration with other societal actors. The activities consist of four units: a child unit, a youth unit, a unit for interventions and specialized functions, and a unit for foster care and contact activities. Three groups within child investigation, two groups within youth services, and an intervention group as well as intensive investigation, foster care/contact activities, family treatment/parental support, and administrative tasks and other support functions. Each unit is led by a unit manager and the activities as a whole by an area manager. We work family-oriented and team-based based on our target groups. To strengthen our quality and create conditions for you as a social worker to use your expertise efficiently with the children's best interests in focus, we have organized ourselves as follows: - An established structure for regular support such as case discussions and external supervision - Specialist social workers with cross-organizational assignments in areas such as method support, implementation, introduction, and recurring training - A structured introduction plan for new employees - An operations developer to support our continued development with target group-oriented approaches - SIP coordinators to support children who need SIP meetings - Placement coordinators to support sourcing external placement options and managing agreements - Administrators with assignments to relieve and support We have expanded our work with risk and needs assessments to detect and prevent children from becoming involved in crime. We will continue to develop our use of evidence- and knowledge-based methods as a support in investigation work. We have a structure enabling remote work for those who wish it and based on operational needs. We are now expanding our investigation teams and seeking additional social workers who want to be challenged and join us on this exciting journey. Your assignment Social worker in child investigation ages 0-11. You investigate children and young people's needs for protection and support and follow up on approved interventions. What we're looking for in you - Degree in social work - Experience working in social services' authority functions in the area of children and youth - Correct Swedish in speech and writing - Knowledge of BBIC - Knowledge of Signs of Safety - Driver's license is desirable - Knowledge of ADAD, SAVRY, Earl, Irisk, RBM is meritorious Your competence As a social worker with us, it goes without saying that you enjoy collaborating with others but also that you can work independently. You have an easy way of building good relationships, you are attentive and clear in your communication. You have good knowledge of relevant legislation, child development, and keep up with current research. You need the ability to limit your assignment and work calmly and methodically when those around you are stressed, and you can organize, plan, and coordinate your work tasks. We're looking for someone who can see possibilities in complex social work, has an easy way of collaborating, is flexible, curious, and keeps the children's best interests in focus.
