Grow and develop with us
The Family Law group is part of the social administration, the frontline social service, and consists of seven social secretaries, an administrator who handles all paternity cases, and a unit manager. We work closely with other activities within the frontline; the reception for children-youth and adults, the Relationship Violence Team, the Prevention Team, the Family Center, open care for youth, and family treatment.
Your assignment
As a social secretary in the family law group, you will investigate and handle custody, residence, and visitation matters at the request of the district court, and be responsible for voluntary cooperation meetings with separated parents. You also handle other types of statements and assignments from the district court, such as visitation support cases and name cases, as well as investigate consent for adoption. You investigate specially appointed guardians, draw up agreements between guardians, conduct information meetings, and provide advice and support during family law's telephone hours.
What we're looking for in you
- Social work degree
- Experience with authority exercising and specifically investigation work with children and youth
- Knowledge and ability to document correctly and with legal security
- Prior experience with family law matters is a merit
- You are structured and plan according to needs
Your competence
We place great emphasis on good professional treatment of our clients, cooperation partners, and toward each other. The work involves qualified investigation and follow-up work, which must be characterized by good treatment, well-founded decisions, and high legal security. The work involves great variety and change, and you need to be flexible and able to handle higher workload during periods. Since we work closely together, collaboration is an important part of the work.
With us, we work on developing the business, and you're expected to take an active part in driving this work together with colleagues and your manager toward set goals. We have a particular focus on developing our preventive and outreach work.
