Your role As a student assistant, you work to help students who for various reasons need support to follow along in teaching and in the school's other activities. The work aims to enable students to develop, as much as possible and within their own capabilities, in accordance with the goals of education. Together with teachers and other staff at the school, you work to create a developing, meaningful and positive environment for the students. The tasks are varied, diverse and sometimes challenging. You have close collaboration with the teaching staff where you both receive instructions and cooperate on how the work should be performed. Your competence and experience We are looking for you who have: Student assistant training, childcare worker training or other training that the employer considers equivalent, or 3-year upper secondary education in children and youth, preferably with supplementary education for children with special needs of 1.5 years. Documented (preferably indicate number of years, e.g. 1-year) experience of working as a student assistant within school or from similar assignments that the employer considers equivalent. Good ability to express yourself in and make yourself understood in Swedish in speech and writing. You are professional, have good judgment and can set boundaries. The work requires that you have patience and can adapt your communication and approach based on the situation. In your interaction with students and guardians, you are clear and responsive to the students' needs. You have good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing.
