Workplace Description Fruängen School is an F-9 school with 600 students and approximately 100 employees. The school is located in the southern part of the Hägersten district. The school was founded in 1958 and has been carefully renovated over the years. We offer a good environment and pleasant colleagues. Classrooms maintain a high standard and there is good access to digital tools. The school's student health team consists of a school nurse, counselor, and school psychologist. Students spend their afternoons at their own after-school program. Qualifications The position is as a childcare worker in one of our primary classes. Together with our skilled teachers, you are responsible for students' entire day. Together with your colleagues, you work to inspire joyful learning that strengthens both students' knowledge development and their personal growth. You have childcare worker training and several years of experience working in after-school programs and schools. You have good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and interest in pedagogical development. You are confident in your professional role. You want to contribute to the school's development. You bring your own ideas but are also open to others' ideas. You have good communication skills. You are reliable and stable with a strong ability to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You have a positive and inclusive approach. You are familiar with the curriculum. You can see how your work contributes to achieving the curriculum's goals. You are engaged and flexible. You have the ability to focus on the right priorities. Experience working with 3rd grade students is a merit. The position is a substitute during autumn semester 2026 when one of our colleagues is on educational leave. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis. Stockholm city practices competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's skills and thereby preventing discrimination. To work at our schools, you must provide a valid extract from the police's record and suspicion register before employment is offered. Within the Education Administration, we apply individual salary setting regulated by HÖK and General Terms (AB).
