Smörkärnegatan group housing is located in Kallebäck and is a residence with special support and services in accordance with LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Seven people with varying support needs live here, and together we work to create a safe, meaningful, and developmental everyday life. At our facility, support pedagogues, support assistants, and a manager work closely together. We believe in collaboration, participation, and shared responsibility for the development of our operations. As a support pedagogue, you work close to operations and provide educational support to both the work team and the unit manager. Through supervision, reflection, and presence in everyday life, you contribute to developing approaches that strengthen quality for our service users. Your work includes: Supporting colleagues in educational work Contributing to the implementation of care plans in daily work Developing social documentation together with the work team Creating space for pedagogical reflection on interaction, participation, and self-determination Identifying areas for development and providing improvement suggestions Strengthening a shared approach where quality and the service user's needs are central Operations run 24/7 and we adapt to the residents' needs and revise working hours accordingly. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday–Friday. The position is 40.00 hours full-time equivalent. Qualifications We're looking for someone with a support pedagogue qualification or an upper secondary education specialization in the disability support field covering at least 200 vocational training credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four full-time semesters of study. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. Your education should include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires you to have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you don't meet the Swedish language requirements, you may be offered a language test through the test provider Educateit. You also need basic computer skills for the position. It is a requirement that you have worked as a support pedagogue for at least 2 years in this field. It is a merit if you have knowledge or experience with working methods such as MI (motivational interviewing), AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), ESL (a life of one's own), and LAB (low-arousal approaches). Experience in care and assistive devices is also a merit. As a person, you take responsibility for both your own and shared work tasks with a focus on what's best for our operations.
