The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: services for people with disabilities, home care and health and medical care in the home, individual and family care, and care and residential facilities. We have five care and residential facilities located in different parts of the municipality. Solrosen and Ryttershov can be found in the beautiful central areas of Ulricehamn, while Ekero, Parkgården, and Hökerumsgården are located in the nature-rich outskirts of the municipality. WORK DUTIES Your most important task is to ensure that each individual receives the care and nursing that corresponds to their needs. For us, the care recipient is always at the center, and good treatment is a matter of course in everything we do. You will have varied work with a good balance between independent responsibility and close collaboration. To provide the best possible support, you work in a team together with colleagues and other professionals in elderly care. Together we create conditions for our care recipients to have an active, secure, and meaningful everyday life, with the opportunity to live as independently as possible. The work includes care and support services according to the Social Services Act as well as delegated health and medical care tasks according to the Health and Medical Care Act. In your role, you support the care recipient in daily life through personal nursing care, meal support, and social interaction. You also participate in various forums such as team meetings and incident meetings. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Healthcare in the home has developed significantly in recent years and today offers both planned and acute healthcare services in patients' homes. We provide advanced care to patients of all ages with varying diagnoses and needs, from rehabilitation to end-of-life care. DUTIES As a nursing assistant or care aide at Central Home Care Services, you work together with colleagues and other professionals in elderly care to provide high-quality care and support. Your task is to perform nursing work based on approved services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL). The work is varied and includes providing personal care, performing delegated healthcare tasks, documenting, and assisting our care recipients in their homes. You always keep the individual's best interests in focus and work to create a safe, active, and meaningful daily life for those we are here to serve. If you are a nursing assistant, you work with a fixed care contact, which means you have expanded responsibility for a number of care recipients. As a fixed care contact, you become a key person in creating continuity and security, and you contribute to each individual receiving the support they need. QUALIFICATIONS Do you have a genuine interest in people and want to make a real difference in daily life? Then you might be the person we are looking for for our team at Central Home Care Services. It is meritorious if you are a trained nursing assistant, but it is not a requirement for the position. It is also meritorious if you have prior experience from healthcare or similar work. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and feel confident working with digital tools.
