The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: services for people with disabilities, home care and health and medical care in the home, individual and family care, and care and residential facilities.
We have five care and residential facilities located in different parts of the municipality. Solrosen and Ryttershov can be found in the beautiful central areas of Ulricehamn, while Ekero, Parkgården, and Hökerumsgården are located in the nature-rich outskirts of the municipality.
We are now seeking staff for our somatic unit at Ekero care and residential facility in Gällstad.

WORK DUTIES
Your most important task is to ensure that each individual receives the care and nursing that corresponds to their needs. For us, the care recipient is always at the center, and good treatment is a matter of course in everything we do.
You will have varied work with a good balance between independent responsibility and close collaboration. To provide the best possible support, you work in a team together with colleagues and other professionals in elderly care. Together we create conditions for our care recipients to have an active, secure, and meaningful everyday life, with the opportunity to live as independently as possible.
The work includes care and support services according to the Social Services Act as well as delegated health and medical care tasks according to the Health and Medical Care Act. In your role, you support the care recipient in daily life through personal nursing care, meal support, and social interaction. You also participate in various forums such as team meetings and incident meetings. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has a genuine commitment to people and wants to work in an operation where each day makes a difference.
If you have previous experience working in care and support, that is highly meritorious. You are comfortable working independently, enjoy sharing your experience, and see collaboration as a natural part of everyday life. Flexibility comes naturally to you, and you appreciate work where no two days are the same.
In Ulricehamns kommun, language skills are a strength. It is valuable if you speak multiple languages, but you need to have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. You are comfortable with documentation and have good computer skills.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Ongoing, start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
