Senior Project Manager for Support

We are seeking an independent subcontractor as a Senior Project Manager for a region in the Stockholm area, within a larger healthcare IT program. You will be responsible for planning, structuring, and establishing a support function for the program's users, vendors, and stakeholders. The assignment encompasses both operational implementation and strategic coordination between operations, IT, and external vendors. You will define the vision and working methods for the support function, establish support processes including incident, ticket, and escalation management, develop SLAs and support documentation, and ensure handover between project and operations. The assignment also includes developing an onboarding process with checklists, guides, and process descriptions, as well as coordinating input from operations, IT, and other project streams. What You Will Do Define the vision and working methods for the support function and coordinate the startup and implementation of the support organization. Establish support processes including incident, ticket, and escalation management. Develop procedures, SLAs, and support documentation. Develop the onboarding process and design checklists, guides, and process descriptions. Ensure consistent documentation, working methods, and handover between project and operations. Coordinate input from operations, IT, and other project streams and support the implementation and communication of the onboarding process. Required Qualifications (Must-Have) To be suitable for this role, you need competency level 5 and: At least 10 years of experience as a project manager in IT and/or establishing support functions, or alternatively as a manager of support operations where you have driven support function establishments. At least 10 years of experience with strategic and operational work on ITSM processes. At least 5 years of experience in project management and/or management roles in support operations at companies or organizations with at least 500 employees. At least 3 years of experience in project management within the healthcare sector or other regulated activities. Experience collaborating with both technical and business-oriented teams, a structured working approach with focus on quality assurance and risk management, and strong ability to work independently. Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing, and ability to manage multiple projects or tasks in parallel. Meriting Qualifications (Nice-to-Have) The merits are weighted heavily in the evaluation, so documented experience here will significantly strengthen your proposal. It is a plus if you have experience with: Conducting investigations or feasibility studies involving support operations. Developing onboarding processes and checklists for support operations in larger organizations (at least 500 employees). Procurement and implementation of system support related to support operations, such as ticket management and contact center systems. Critical support operations with 24/7 availability. About the Process The assignment will be filled through a dynamic procurement system (DIS) with a tight proposal deadline on Monday, July 20, and preliminary allocation on July 27 without contract restrictions. You will lead and conduct investigations as well as establish and further develop IT workplace services in a complex and business-critical healthcare environment. You will work closely with operations, IT, operations providers, and program management to ensure sustainable, secure, and user-friendly solutions tailored to healthcare needs. The assignment requires a good understanding of regulatory requirements, care-focused working methods, and high demands for availability and information security. Meritorious (Desirable Requirements) It is an advantage if you have experience with: Conducting investigations/preliminary studies involving both operations and IT (at least 3 years).
