Extensive international travel is an important part of the role, with approximately 100 travel days per year expected, primarily to customers, partners and key semiconductor markets in North America, Asia and Europe. YOU ARE Your career has given you a strong understanding of the semiconductor industry and brought you close to both technology and business. Perhaps you started on the technical side and gradually moved towards Product Management, Business Development, Strategic Sales or another customer-facing commercial role. What matters is that you can move comfortably between technical discussions and commercial opportunities. You have a technical university degree, preferably in electronics, electrical engineering, engineering physics, computer engineering or a related field, together with relevant experience from semiconductor IP, SoC, processors or accelerators, EDA, foundry or related advanced chip technologies. You have a proven commercial track record in complex B2B technology environments and have personally driven opportunities from early technical dialogue and qualification through negotiation to signed agreement or design win. You are technically credible enough to engage with chip architects, SoC designers and engineering managers, while keeping a clear commercial focus. You are curious, hands-on and comfortable opening new doors, developing relationships and taking responsibility for moving opportunities forward. You enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment and do not need a large sales or pre-sales organization around you to create momentum. Experience combining Product Management with Business Development or Sales is particularly relevant. Experience from On-chip Memory IP, semiconductor IP licensing, NRE and royalty-based business models, the foundry ecosystem or international sales representatives is considered an advantage. You are comfortable representing a smaller technology company internationally and building relationships with significantly larger organizations. Fluency in English is required, as is the willingness and ability to travel extensively internationally. At Xenergic, you will join at a stage where technology, market opportunity and commercial growth come together. Short decision paths and close collaboration with the management team give you the opportunity to directly influence which customers, markets and partnerships Xenergic pursues as the company grows internationally. WANT TO KNOW MORE? In this recruitment, Xenergic is collaborating with Nexer Recruit. What does it take to turn advanced semiconductor technology into products ready for customers and production? At Xenergic, it takes strong engineering, close collaboration and the ability to bring different technical disciplines together. We are now looking for an Engineering Manager to lead that work and develop our engineering organisation as we grow. YOU WILL Xenergic is a Lund-based semiconductor company developing high-speed, On-chip memory IP for advanced chip technologies. Our engineering teams work across several technical disciplines, developing technology that spans from transistor-level design to customer integration and mass production. As Engineering Manager, you will lead Xenergic's engineering organisation and take overall responsibility for product development and delivery. Working closely with the CEO, CTO and Business Development & Sales Manager, you will bring together technical direction, people and execution, ensuring that teams have the right priorities, resources and conditions to deliver. This is a role for someone who wants to lead without losing touch with the technology. You will work across analog and digital design, software and verification, bringing different engineering disciplines together and creating the structure needed to turn advanced technology into reliable products and customer solutions. Your main responsibilities will be to: Lead and develop the engineering organisation across analog, digital, software and verification. Take overall responsibility for product development and delivery, including resources, priorities, timelines and budgets. Develop engineering processes, design methodologies and ways of working that support quality and efficient development. Develop the team and its capabilities while creating clarity, collaboration and accountability across the organisation. Ensure effective communication and documentation throughout product development and with relevant internal and external stakeholders. The role reports to the CEO and is part of the management team. It is a full-time position based in Lund. YOU ARE Your career has given you a strong technical foundation and experience in complex product development within semiconductors, electronics or another relevant technology environment. Over time, you have taken on broader responsibility and moved towards leading people, teams and technical delivery. A technical university degree in electronics or a related field provides a strong foundation for the role. Equivalent technical experience may also be considered. Experience in the semiconductor industry is particularly valuable, especially within areas such as memory, chip design, verification, chip validation or silicon bring-up. You have experience leading engineers and understand how to create the right conditions for highly skilled specialists to do their best work. You are comfortable setting priorities, making decisions and taking responsibility for delivery when several teams and technical disciplines need to work together. As a leader, you are pragmatic and solution-oriented. You stay close enough to the technology to understand the challenges, ask the right questions and support your teams, without needing to be the expert in every technical detail. You bring structure when needed, while giving experienced engineers the trust and space to solve complex problems. Fluency in English is required. At Xenergic, you will join a highly specialised engineering environment where technology and product development are closely connected. Short decision paths allow you to influence how the engineering organisation develops and how we take our technology from development to customer integration and production. WANT TO KNOW MORE?
