Snaten Lantbruk AB/Vallens Gård is located just outside Ljusdal in the beautiful Hälsingland region. Currently, the farm operates approximately 1700 hectares of cropland for the production of hay, feed grain, and wholecrop silage for the farm's dairy herd. The herd currently consists of approximately 1200 milking cows, plus heifers and replacement animals. In addition to milk and feed production, we manage forestry and produce biogas and vehicle gas. Our cows are milked by robots, and our calves are kept in group systems with nurses from approximately 1 week of age. Our barn team consists of approximately 12 Swedish-speaking men and women. Vallens Gård has been in an expansion phase for many years, with our latest barn facility coming into operation in June 2025.
