You'll find our operation in the newly built Tinnerbäckshuset on the hospital grounds. The care schedules on our department vary, which means the work consists of everything from acute care to planned admissions. The Psychiatric Clinic in Linköping is a university clinic with many different operations. The clinic consists of outpatient and inpatient care, a detoxification unit, and an acute unit. In addition, we have mobile services: the mobile outpatient team and prehospital acute psychiatric mobility (psychiatric ambulance). You will find our operations in the newly built Tinnerbäckshuset on the hospital grounds. We are now seeking a nurse for our inpatient ward S-81, with a focus on affective disorders, planned and acute eating disorder care, planned admissions, and SI - Voluntary Admission. Care times on our ward vary, making the work consist of everything from acute care to planned admissions. Patients primarily have psychiatric issues, but somatic comorbidities are common, which means that medical-technical procedures are part of daily work. Job Description As a nurse, you have a central and leadership role on the ward, where you are responsible for daily tasks and for leading nursing care. In addition to primary tasks such as medication management, participation in rounds, reporting, and social planning in collaboration with external partners, much of the work focuses on supporting and working closely with patients in their individual nursing care needs. The work is creative; we work closely with patients and base our approach on their resources and skills. For the past couple of years, we have been working with a recovery-oriented approach, and we see how care has evolved from a more traditional approach to being driven by increasingly flexible and patient-centered care where the patient's experience and needs are always our starting point. This in turn makes daily work more meaningful and developmental.
