Do you want to work with operational procurement in an organization where structure, accuracy, and delivery reliability are in focus? We are now looking for an operational procurement officer for one of our clients in Norrköping, which is one of Sweden's leading chemical distributors.
About the Role
In your role as an operational procurement officer, you will be an important part of the procurement team and be responsible for ensuring an efficient and stable flow of goods. You will have many contact points both internally and externally and work closely with, among others, production, planning, sales, and suppliers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Placing and following up on purchase orders and handling order confirmations
Planning and monitoring material deliveries based on needs and forecasts
Maintaining ongoing contact with suppliers regarding deliveries, prices, and any discrepancies
Ensuring that materials are available at the right time and in the right quantity
Updating article, price, and supplier information in business systems
Handling and following up on delivery discrepancies
Contributing to price discussions and negotiations with suppliers
Working with monitoring of, for example, delivery times and inventory levels
Ensuring that procurement-related documentation is correct and up to date
Participating in the development and optimization of procurement processes
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience in operational procurement and who thrives in a role where you can combine structure and administration with a lot of contact with people. You are thorough and solution-oriented and find it easy to prioritize when several things need to be handled simultaneously.
We would like to see that you have:
Post-secondary education in procurement, logistics, economics, or equivalent experience
Experience in operational procurement, material planning, or order handling
Good understanding of procurement and logistics flows
Experience working in business systems
Good Excel skills
Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is a merit if you have experience from an industrial or technically oriented organization.
As a person, you are structured, communicative, and responsible. You have a business-minded approach and enjoy building good relationships with both suppliers and colleagues. You are also proactive and enjoy seeing opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Our client is one of Sweden's leading chemical distributors and supplies chemicals to customers within, among others, industry and public organizations. The company operates in Norrköping and is characterized by high requirements for quality, safety, and delivery accuracy.
About the Employment
This is a consulting assignment for 6 months where you will be employed by Adecco and work at our client in Norrköping. The assignment is full-time and working hours are scheduled during office hours Monday-Friday. For the right person, there are good opportunities for extension of the assignment or takeover by the client after the consulting period ends.
