The Role of Registered Nurse As a registered nurse, you have a holistic view of the patient's complex needs. Your Future Workplace The Medicine and Geriatric Clinic at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö is a developing operation where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. Within the clinic, there are a number of care units with different focus and orientation. Here at Medical Care Unit G, we care for people with Stroke/TIA, other neurological diseases such as epilepsy, migraine, etc., as well as acute geriatric patients with multiple conditions. With us, you will gain broad expertise as we care for patients with many different complex diseases. There is also a stroke coordinator (registered nurse) who, together with ambulance, emergency care, or health centers, coordinates direct admissions for people with suspected Stroke/TIA.
