The Role of Registered Nurse
As a registered nurse, you have a holistic view of the patient's complex needs. You are responsible for patient care, observation, medication, and collaboration regarding patients with varying care needs. We want the patient to be involved in their own care. This means that information is a very important part of your work.
You care for the patient in the best way based on the individual's needs and proven experience within medical nursing.
We work in teams with different professions and together with other colleagues you work for good collaboration within the clinic. As a registered nurse you lead and distribute the work in the team.
Your Future Workplace
The Medical and Geriatric Clinic at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö is a developing operation where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. Within the clinic there are a number of care units with different focus and direction.
Here at medical care unit G we care for people with Stroke/TIA, other neurological diseases such as epilepsy, migraine, etc., as well as acute geriatric multi-morbid elderly persons. With us you will gain broad expertise as we care for patients with many different complex diseases. There is also a stroke coordinator (registered nurse) who, together with ambulance services, emergency care, or health centers, coordinates direct admissions for people with suspected Stroke/TIA.

Our Offer to You
We now have the opportunity to offer you a permanent full-time position, but we can easily adapt if you have other preferences.
As someone working nights you fulfill an important function and we offer you a night shift allowance of 6 000 kr based on full-time!
Start date can be agreed upon, but we would like you to be able to start with us as soon as possible.
