We are a group with approximately 1,800 employees and operate 27 production facilities throughout southern Sweden. A common misconception about the sawmill industry is that it involves heavy physical labor, but we want to change that perception! Much of the heavy work is handled by automated machines, which means we need personnel to monitor and partially control the machine lines. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES What does the role involve? Demand for our products is high, and we are now looking for a planer operator to join our team in Hestra. In the planing mill, you will work with sorting, strapping, wrapping, and labeling. We work in teams where you rotate between different workstations, so having good teamwork and a positive group dynamic is important to us—everyone helps out and pulls in the same direction. The position involves 2-shift work. QUALIFICATIONS Who are we looking for? We are seeking an engaged and solution-oriented person who is experienced working with IT-based production systems and pays attention to quality results. Above all, we value a positive attitude toward the work and your coworkers, and a commitment to identifying opportunities and participating in continuous improvement efforts. You are organized and detail-oriented, a good listener, and have strong teamwork abilities. The position requires that you have proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
