Axelent is now looking for a Global System Engineer who wants to help ensure a stable, secure and modern IT environment across the entire group. Your Role: As a Global System Engineer at Axelent, you have overall responsibility for IT operations, infrastructure and cybersecurity. The role is central and involves ensuring stability, performance and security in our IT environments while driving development, improvement and modernization of our technical platforms. You work according to the "One Axelent" strategy, where collaboration, responsibility and shared goals are in focus. In the role you report to the CIO and work closely with both internal operations and external suppliers, where you serve as an important bridge between technology and business. You will: Be responsible for day-to-day IT operations and ensure that infrastructure, networks, cloud services and user support function stably and efficiently. You work proactively with monitoring, capacity planning and incident management to ensure high availability and performance in a global environment. Lead and further develop the company's cybersecurity efforts, working with risk management, incident response and security strategies. The role also includes responsibility for IT governance and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and established security standards. Drive initiatives related to automation, modernization and improvement of the IT environment, while being responsible for vendor management and collaboration with external partners such as SOC providers and technical suppliers. Through your work, you ensure efficient, cost-conscious and secure IT delivery. You are: An analytical and technically strong person who thrives in a role where you can combine operational responsibility with development and improvement. You have experience working within IT operations and/or IT security and feel comfortable managing complex IT environments. You have good knowledge of IT operations, networking, virtualization and Microsoft environments, preferably with experience of Azure and cloud-based solutions. You also have an understanding of ITIL-based working methods and incident management, as well as a genuine interest in cybersecurity. As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented and have a strong ability to prioritize and make decisions, even in complex situations. You are communicative and have an aptitude for building trust in dialogue with both technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners. You are fluent in Swedish and English.
